Protein Bars with Almonds and Coconut
These bars contain protein and omega-3 fatty acids and will provide you with energy.

  1. Pulse almonds in a food processor or blender until well chopped. Add drained dates and hemp hearts and blend until it holds together.
  2. Place ingredients in a bowl and add coconut, protein powder, coconut oil, cinnamon, salt and water. Mix very well. If a little more water is needed to hold it all together, add by teaspoon until it binds well.
  3. Line a square pan with wax paper or parchment paper. With firm pressure, press the mixture into the pan. Refrigerate at least one hour. Cut into up to 12 bars and store in the refrigerator in a covered container.
